< Tortoiseshell crackle glaze confectionery plate (small individual plate) blue series x golden color S >
Material: Ceramic (Kyoto ware/Kiyomizu ware) Approx.Φ13×h1.5cm

The crescent-shaped rim is fired at high temperatures (Yakishime) to give it a golden touch with a matte feel. By using the traditional inlay technique of Mishimade, only the large flowers are glossy, and the gold color truly stands out. All flower stamps (Inka) are hand-pressed, making each and every one unique and original.

The size and shape were specially designed for the arrangement of confectionery goods. Cakes, financiers, Nerikiri, sweet Dango, etc., can be arranged on the plate in both Japanese and Western styles. The vivid blue and gorgeous gold color give a special touch to the plate.

Perfect for decorating the table on special occasions such as holidays and celebrations, entertaining important guests, or when you want to enjoy a special treat with someone dear.
