A traditional glaze with beautiful multi-layered crackles called Tortoiseshell crackle glaze.

As a representative glaze, it has been used for many years in Tohsen kilns, the bluish (celadon) touch is characterized by its vivid color produced by Tohsen kiln's unique pigment formulation. By combining gold and platinum colors we managed to bring a certain degree of modernity and elegance.

The front shining effect of the plate was achieved through trial and error method, by adjusting the position and angle of the crescent-shaped quenching part. The Inka flower seals that are scattered around the rim of the lip are made by Mishimade inlay technique to make only the large flowers shiny.

It can be used in a wide range of applications, such as main dishes and one-plate styles, to create gorgeous table settings. Please avoid exposing the plate to sudden temperature changes, as it may suffer irreversible damage. Also, the overglaze, as well as the golden and platinum colors, may be damaged, if you're using them in the microwave.

Please refrain from using a dish dryer or a scrubbing brush as this may cause damage, unwanted peeling, and scratches. After each usage, apply a neutral detergent and wash with a soft sponge.
